When Monika sent me her vision board with Inspo for what she was looking in a family session and it was filled with Wes Anderson I knew we were a match. She said she wanted her session to feel less like family pictures and more like an album cover.I shot this almost completely with no direction, just whatever happens happens sort of vibe. We met at their family camp in the woods of Ithaca New York last fall and something about being on their own property felt so much more real. It’s honestly one of my favorite family sessions to date.
