I knew I was mean to photograph Alicia and Peter when during our first phone call they told me that they didn’t want any of that cheesy shit or super posy stuff. They just wanted the day to be fun, and I told them I was 100 percent on board. Because they didn’t live in New York, and well I’m only home part time we didn’t physically meet until the night before. We grabbed ice cream and we clicked like we had known each other for years.  The next morning, I showed up to her grandmothers estate in Cazenovia New York and I was mesmerized on how big it was. It was the dreamiest light to get ready in, and the ceremony spot was perfect. I love when I get to photograph weddings in places that mean the world to my couples.

Alicia and Peter decided to do a first look which was such a blessing because they had a big bridal party of 16. They decided to exchange gifts then and let me tell you it was the sweetest thing watching her cry when he surprised her with a sentimental Childrens book. Doing the first look allowed everyone to have some down time to just hangout and well drink and enjoy just being together. After the ceremony we took a few more candids and family pictures and then we headed over their venue ” Our Farm” in Manlius NY.

I think we were all surprised when Alicia and Peter decided to partake in the ” chucking pumpkin” tradition at the farm complete with a giant catapult and chain mask. I would like to say this is probably one of a more out there thing thats ever happened at a wedding that Ive photographed but I would probably be lying haha.  One of the things that stuck out to me was Alicia danced with all the important men in her life during the father daughter dance and ya know your girl shed a tear or two. The rest of the night was just full off candids, fun, a few horse kisses, and an occasional shot gun of a beer.
