Fall in the Pacific Northwest is something you just need to experience for yourself. Gold Creek pond in the Snoqualmie pass ( a little bit outside of Seattle) is worth a stop and the perfect backdrop for an adventure family session. The Sharp family met me here last October and in true Pacific North West […]

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times ; my heart and soul lies within the Pacific Northwest. When we first found out we were relocating to Washington we put together a bucket list together of what things we wanted to witness, capture, and be apart of during our 3 year journey to […]

Ever since I can remember I always dreamed of living on the west coast. I pictured my life by the ocean with the tall grass and the sounds of waves in the background. In this daydream I would always be barefoot with unbrushed wispy hair flowing in the wind. I don’t know how lighting struck twice […]

After photographing Whitney’s maternity session at a castle in the middle of the water in Italy last spring I knew that I had to photograph this sweet girl’s arrival.  I absolutely love photographing these moments for my clients, because years later when the baby has grown up photographs will always be there to help remember […]

more about ME

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2012. Long enough to know I am not here to run your day.
Photos are not everything.
And I refuse to add to the pile of expectations already sitting on your shoulders.
You don’t need another director.
You don’t need to perform.

I’m here to observe.
To document the things you didn’t know were happening because you were too busy actually living them.
To show you how deeply you are loved.
To freeze this exact version of your lives before it shifts, because it will.
After 14 years of being at weddings almost every weekend, this approach still shakes me to my core.
Not the perfection.
Not the details.
The people.
