Years ago an elopement was thought of as sneaking away to a Courthouse, today it’s more about running away to the woods or mountains and making the day all about the two of you. I’m all about this movement and I hope it continues.  I grew up with waterfalls in my backyard. Literally right near my hometown there are 150 different waterfalls. I’m more used to just showing up to a shoot or a wedding in water-shoes than I am in heels. Chasing waterfalls — its in my blood, so naturally I was stoked to photograph this elopement inspired shoot at a waterfall I had never been to in my new home in Washington.
