When we first found out getting the base Fort Lewis in Tacoma Washington was an option I turned to google. I quickly searched the best photo locations and two things popped up. This magical city was almost completely empty, making getting up far before sunrise worth it completely. We took the water taxi to the heart of the city to San Marco Square and had the whole place to ourselves. Mountains, meets forest, meets industrial. There is so much to be said about intimate weddings and all the love and emotions that happen when your surrounded by just your closest family and friends. Also, Im just going to say it, this ceremony spot is the best outdoor backdrop I have ever seen.

Barn Farm Wedding Upstate New York

more about ME

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2012. Long enough to know I am not here to run your day.
Photos are not everything.
And I refuse to add to the pile of expectations already sitting on your shoulders.
You don’t need another director.
You don’t need to perform.

I’m here to observe.
To document the things you didn’t know were happening because you were too busy actually living them.
To show you how deeply you are loved.
To freeze this exact version of your lives before it shifts, because it will.
After 14 years of being at weddings almost every weekend, this approach still shakes me to my core.
Not the perfection.
Not the details.
The people.
